Drivers are now facing new phone penalties. Motorists who are now caught using their mobile phones while driving will have three penalty points added to their licence. The maximum fine has now doubled to £60, which came into effect on the 27th February this year.

This does not mean you have to stop using your mobile phone all together whilst in the car.
